England legend Alan Shearer says he wouldn’t be surprised if Manchester United were to sign Victor Yokeres.

Speaking about United’s situation, Shearer said: “Bruno Fernandes was the one strength Manchester United had last season. God only knows what they will be without him.”
“The team has Matheus Cunha coming in and we will see a lot of transfers in and out in the next two months. They have to let some players go and to do that. They have to bring some players in to freshen up the team.”
“It’s been bad for a long time but everything has come together in a bad way which is something they don’t want to see this season. It’s a big pre-season for the team in terms of players coming in and out.”
“Brian Mbeumo’s move is still a mystery and I know other clubs are interested in him. Including Newcastle, while Spurs could try to sign him with Thomas Frank in charge.”
“With Victor Yokeres, I wouldn’t be surprised if they brought him in because having worked with Ruben Amorim at Sporting. I think that’s where it could happen.”
